Inspirational Quote ~ The Law of Attraction & Buddha's Influence

For my first post, I thought it perfect to begin with one of my favourite inspirational quotes inspired by Buddha: 'What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.'

Every morning, as I walk out my bedroom door, this quote is the last thing I see before I begin the rest of my day. I read this quote on the painting that I created on the wall right beside the door. It serves as a reminder for how I am going to live the day. Think about the quote. If you think that you are tired, you become tired but if you think you are energetic, that’s exactly how you will feel. If you feel like it will be a great day, it will be. If you imagine yourself running into problems during the day, that is exactly what will happen. If you imagine yourself having a wonderful day, that too is what will happen.

Naturally, life always throws different situations at us but it is how we react to them for how the rest of our day will continue. It may be easy sometimes to stray off the path and become easily frustrated, but you must remind yourself that your thoughts and choices determine how your day will turn out to be.

Buddha ~ A Very Brief Introduction

Siddhartha Gautama, otherwise known as Buddha, is the master founder of the religion of Buddhism who lived in the 4th and 5th century BCE. He was a regular human being like the rest of us, but he came to be a philosopher, meditator, spiritual teacher and religious leader while he was alive. A couple of centuries after he passed away, he became how he is recognized today, ‘Buddha’ which also means ‘enlightened one’.

Law of Attraction ~ An Introduction

The Law of Attraction (LoA) is a way of living where whatever thoughts you believe, whether positive or negative, is the exact same of what you will attract into your life. If you are a very positive person, then you will attract positive situations and positive people. If you focus on the negative, then negative events and people will result in your life. The belief is that all of your thoughts eventually will result in things and situations. Some celebrities that live by the LoA include Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, Oprah, Post Malone and several more!

A great resource that will help introduce the LoA into your life is The Secret by Rhonda Byrne which is the first book of her series and is a film/documentary also entitled The Secret.

Make sure to look into the LoA and start on a wonderful new path. Ultimately, we need to think positive and make the best of each of your days.
